Is this singlet designed specifically for women’s bodies?
The "Gabriella" is our patented design. As women's coaches, we saw over and again the results of poorly-fitting singlets. We worked tirelessly to get ours just right, to provide coverage, match a female's curves, and find a fabric that was supportive and protected modesty, while keeping athletes cool and not adding weight. Women CANNOT wear men's singlets, or the poor excuses for a "women's singlet" that have flooded the market. You should NOT have to wear a compression shirt under your singlet in order to be comfortable and covered.
Why is the back of your singlet so different?
The biggest problem we saw in "women's singlets" was the level of chest and cleavage exposure, and the lack of support in that same area. After HUNDREDS of hours spent researching, tweaking, and brainstorming, we realized the simplest idea was the best idea. The most supportive and modest swimsuits and sports bras sport a racerback design. This unique back provides compression and support in the chest, allows for a much higher neckline, and is easy to get on and off.
What is a "gusset seam", and why is it important?
Nobody wants to talk about it...we know. But...we have to. No woman, especially one who just powered her way through competition, wants to step onto the podium with visible camel toe. (please forgive us...we had to say it) Our gusset seam is double-layered and prevents embarrassing incidents like these, AND helps for an extra reassurance during that time of the month---because your focus should be on competing, not on anything else.
What sizes do you offer, and how do I know which one is right for me?
We offer sizes from Youth XXS to Adult 3XL in men's AND women's singlets and gear. We provide a sizing chart, but we KNOW every body is different. If you're between sizes on the chart, or if you like a particular fit (extra compressive, looser in the thing, etc.) reach out to us---we are happy to help!! We are also now offering ALL singlets in a LONG size for our athletes with long torsos!
What makes your singlets different from others on the market?
Our singlet is made by women and female athletes for YOU. We CARE about our athletes and what they need. Our singlet provides a unique racerback design which allows for the highest neckline possible, and support in the chest. We've also added double lining gusset panel at the inseam to prevent embarrassing moments on the mat or on the podium. Our fabric is the SOFTEST on the market, and is NEVER see-through. You can comfortably wear our singlet in any color or design (even WHITE!!) with confidence!
Is this singlet approved for high school or college competition?
This singlet meets all NFHS, NCAA, NAIA and USA wrestling standards. We have had it approved by high-ranking officials in all governing bodies, in addition to state representatives. It's different---we know...different is GOOD!
What kind of fabric do you use?
We use a high-grade bamboo-based fabric that is moisture-wicking, breathable, and durable enough for intense practices and matches. It stretches and moves WITH you, keeping you cool and in place in even the most difficult matches.
How does the singlet stay in place during movement?
The singlet is cut to move with your body. The seams are curved, so it doesn't move away from the body. The unique racerback prevents it slipping off shoulders. The wider leg and thigh opening prevent the leg from rolling up because it FITS a women's leg.
Can I customize with my team's logos and colors?
Absolutely! We can do ANY design, any colors. We can make singlets, warmups and wrestling backpacks to your team's specific needs and requests. We can also make smaller quantities (yes, even just ONE!) if you need female gear to match a male team.
What’s the process and turnaround time?
Good work takes time. We pride ourselves on quality sublimation with super-saturated colors and attention to detail. Any sublimation order (singlets, sublimated warmups, backpacks, etc.) will get to you in about 3 weeks. We will always try to get them to you as quickly as possible, while still maintaining the quality we demand.
What is your return or exchange policy if the singlet doesn’t fit?
We cannot accept returns on custom or personalized items. We can offer store credit for size returns. Should any items be damaged, or not up to our standards for quality, we will immediately replace the item.
Do you offer any discounts for team orders or bulk purchases?
Yes! We offer items at a significant discount when ordered in bulk quantities. We also significantly discount our items in our "BUNDLES" on our "CUSTOM GEAR" page!
Can you make boys gear, too?
YES!! We began as a company to meet a huge need we saw for female wrestlers, but that doesn't mean we forgot about the boys! Our men's singlet is the same super-soft and breathable fabric, in a traditional men's cut!
